Hand Form Soap Dish 4

This striking and creative soap dish adds a reflective sculptural element to your utilitarian spaces. It is an original slip-cast form made by the artist and owner of Alchemy Soap, Maura Meng.

This is an original piece of pit-fired earthenware, fired in a steel drum. In a pit-fire, different combustibles are introduced in a reduction environment, which allows smoke to form. This smoke coloures the ceramics and adds dramatic textures and mottled surface effects. No 2 pieces come out the same. This soap dish fits Alchemy Soap solid shampoo and conditioner, as well as bar soap.

Please note, this particular piece is discounted as some hairline cracks formed in the palm when the piece was fired. It is still solid.
