Hand Form Soap Dish

This striking and creative soap dish adds a reflective sculptural element to your utilitarian spaces. It is an original slip-cast form made by the artist and owner of Alchemy Soap, Maura Meng.

This is an original piece of pit-fired earthenware, fired in a steel drum. In a pit-fire, different combustibles are introduced in a reduction environment, which allows smoke to form. This smoke coloures the ceramics and adds dramatic textures and mottled surface effects. No 2 pieces come out the same. This soap dish fits Alchemy Soap solid shampoo and conditioner, as well as bar soap.
